All great posts and so true. This is one reason why we will be at the Kingdom Hall tonight with our many signs exposing the Watchtower org. for what they relly are, a dangerous and destructive cult! I will be holding one of my favorites-"Accordingly Jesus said to them: :Most truly I say to you, Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in yourselves". John 6:53 NWT

question on memorial for Research Lady
by isaacaustin inhi rick and inez.... i was just curious if you guys and the gang ever thought about peacefully and quietly attending the memorial, (with the intent of partaking)...you have a pretty sizeable group.
would the elders ask you all to leave and call the police if you did not leave?
bear in mind there could be visitors so this could be sticky and undesireable to have to call in the police.. thoughts?.

Hello! Isaacaustin, I'm glad to answer your question. Since Rick has been disfellowshipped since 2005, the Elders might give him a hard time if he tried to even enter the Kingdom Hall. But, I am not disfellowshipped so I probably could go in and partake but, would certainly be brought into the Elders room for questioning after the event. Since Rick and I are real Christians we would be going against the scriptures to go in and participate with the rest of the group who are not following the scriptures in obedience to Jesus' own words in John 6:53--"So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves". The way that Jehovah's Witnesses celebrate their Memorial is actually a Pagan practice. To pass the bread and wine and refuse to partake of these is going against what Jesus said to do. As far as them calling the police, that would be unnecessary since we have already done so. They have been there with us for the past several years making sure that we are safe. That is because we always get written permission to demonstrate, even though it is not necessary.

12 ex-JWs at church yesterday...
by passwordprotected inas reported elsewhere on the forum, there were 12 ex-jws at our baptism service yesterday.
twelve.. it was quite an experience to hear about an ex-jw who had moved to another part of the country and had written down 150 names of jws in the area of glasgow she was originally from and had started praying for all those names last summer.
two of the people on her list were at the church yesterday, with their wives and children.

This is wonderful news. Because so many Witnesses are starting to "wake up and smell the coffee" is the reason why we started our house church five years ago. Several of those who attend are former Witnesses who realised they did not have to leave God behind when they left the Watchtower org. We also have several active Witnesses who regularly attend. That seems hard to believe but, it's true. Thank you for sharing this story. Let's continue to pray for those who are still trapped in the org. We have two daughters who are still in who have nothing to do with us since we left so naturally we pray for them every day. Thanks again

I'm disgusted by YOU
by skeeter1 inposts on fluff are fun...i admit.. posts knocking jws are therapy...i know.. posts revealing wt lies, deception, etc...well, they help those who are still in.. but...... how come no one wants to do any grass roots, writing letters, etc.
to the governments about the jws?
ireland is about to set national policy for its hospitals and doctors on how to handle jehovah's witness patients.

Skeeter1, I applaud you for your efforts and agree with your concerns. If you do nothing what happens---nothing. When I was still an active Witness back in the 60s I remember when we were told to write letters to the officials in the government of Malawi about the treatment of Jehovah's Witnesses. We were all given several names and addresses of who to write to. Whenever the Watchtower org. is having problems of this nature, they are the first to speak up to try to get attention, even appealing to the United Nations for help. But whenever they are being questioned about their tactics they get out their legal goons to help them out. This is only one reason why we will be at the local Kingdom Hall on April 9 to have another peaceful protest with several people holding up signs to warn those attending their Memorial about some of the things the Watchtower org. is hiding behind. Over 23,000 pedophiles in the org., Rick Mclean on the F.B.I.'s most wanted criminals list, Former Bethel Elder Jesus Cano arrested for taking pictures of little boys in a men's bathroom in Chicago, Watchtower's involvement as an n.g.o. of the United Nations for over ten years, Johannes Greber's Bible written under the influence of demons used for some of the scriptures in the N.W.T. and the list goes on. The Watchtower org. needs to be exposed for what they really are, a dangerous and destructive cult! Keep up the good work Skeeter1 and don't let the naysayers discourage you for your efforts.

Estimating Our Influence
by metatron inin regard to a recent watchtower article on shunning 'apostates', i wonder if we could create an estimate of our collective influence.
how many active witnesses secretly go to this site or others?.
more importantly, how many witnesses pass along information that was revealed here?.

The Watchtower organization is on the verge of a mass exodus! More and more active Jehovah's Witnesses are finding out what the Watchtower organization is hiding behind.People are leaving in droves, including their so-called apologists. Greg Stafford, who was a pretty sharp Witness who stood up for their teachings is now out of the Witnesses false organization . Just recently, a young Witness man named Brian, who on his You Tube channel was constantly defending the Witnesses , and was so eager to do so, has had a change of heart. He no longer believes the Watchtower doctrine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Enb0NZyBt8&feature=response_watch

Watchtower in the News?
by patchwrk inwhy is there no follow up on the news in regards to cases that are being investigated.
i am constantly informed in the media about the progress of investigations involving the catholic religion, but news about investigations involving the wt society just seems to fade away.
a while back there was a lot of talk regarding pedophiles in the congregations, and then nothing.

The conference call is an amazing venue. It's a novel approach and it's working. It's attracting people from all over the world. Many coming in to the call are active Jehovah's Witnesses and are listening intensly. It's surprising that the Witnesses are willing to engage in dialogue and agreeing with what we as former Witnesses are saying. The conference call has become the crosssroads of Jehovah's Witness news. Its timely up to date format is helping so many people who have been "touched by the tentacles of the Watchtower". Many have said that www.sixscreensofthewatchtower.com is too intense or spooky. However it is not frightening people away. It is attracting many young people, as it was designed to do. Page reads have been esculating. And its so called "dark side" is working. To check out the conference call, hit the following link. http://sixscreensofthewatchtower.com/conferencecall.html

5th Annual Memorial night demonstration at Kingdom Hall!

our 5th annual demonstration will be held in front of the kingdom hall on bridge lane in wilmington mass.
u.s.a.on thursday april 9,2009. demonstrations on memorial night are very effective in reaching people who may be considering becoming a jehovah's witness.

The clock is ticking, the Memorial is less than a week away. Signs are being shipped out to people in a number of areas, including London England! For all of those who are brave enough to stand tall in getting involved with these peaceful demonstrations, we applaud you!The timing is right for these protests as so many Witnesses no longer believe what the Watchtower org. is teaching them. They have "one foot in and one foot out". A simple sign stating a website, or a sign adressing child molestors in the org, and a sign that simply states "Jehovah's Witnesses break up families" may be all that's needed to bring a Witness to the "exit door".

Rick Fearon is not upset that the Watchtower org. disfellowshipped him. He is glad that Satan kicked him out of his organization. Rick is not making some ironclad prediction that the "mass exodus" will happen. He is just giving suggestions for those who have "one foot in and one foot out" to all make their exit at the same time. This would send an important message to the org. As he mentioned on the conference call, there seems to be a new breed of Witnesses, known as the "conscious class". They are now aware of what's going on behind the "curtains" of the Watchtower. Their either masks are now off. Upwards of two and a half million Jehovah's Witnesses are not sleeping at night. We could say that one out of three active Witnesses no longer believe that the org. is the truth. If these ones could unite in an effort to all leave at the same time, it could be the "magic bullet" to collapse the Watchtower org.
